Inhalation
Anthrax?

Inhalation anthrax, a/k/a pulmonary anthrax, is a type of serious infection caused by the inhalation of a specific bacterium, more specifically the inhalation of Bacillus anthracis. Unlike viruses, Anthrax can affect both animals and humans. Inhalation Anthrax comes in spores made by the bacteria that can survive some reasonably harsh conditions.  When these spores are breathed in, one contracts Anthrax. Inhalation Anthrax is the most deadly of all types due to its ability to cause respiratory distress. However, it is also the rarest type to be afflicted by. Also, since Anthrax is non-contagious, it is impossible to catch the disease from another person. Interested? Use the navigation bar at the top to learn more.
